KOKO: A BIT OF A HIT & MISS
Some dishes were fantastic while others didn’t really do it for me. As for the so-called Koko Chef’s special sashimi — Chef’s catch of the day, I thought it was not worthy of such a prestigious title!
Out of the six dishes that we ordered, only 2 has truly tantalised my taste buds.

Hotate misoyaki — baked scallops with spinach, topped with miso mustard sauce

Spider roll — nori roll filled with crispy soft-shell crab, drizzed with sweet soy glaze
Overall, the food was mediocre, while being priced slightly above average. Not terrible, but not fantastic. The ambience, however, was enjoyable. Also, the service was friendly. Oh, their Koko-nut cocktail tickled my fancy though. My verdict? A 6.5 out of 10.
